Altın Yunus Çeşme Resort

The Altın Yunus was established in Izmir’s Çeşme district in 1974 as the first five-star, 1,100-bed holiday resort in Turkey and the Middle-East.  The resort operates in an ever-expanding array of tourism segments, ranging from ‘sea-sand-sun’ to ‘congress’, ‘thermal-spa’ and ‘water sports’.  It is also known for its offer of health, beauty and relaxation, with its Bio Venus Spa located inside the hotel complex, the large boating marina, as well as the natural 250-metre stretch of ‘Blue Flag’ beach, fully complying with international standards.  The Altın Yunus hotel is distinguished by the perfect balance of its architecture with its modern comfort and nostalgic charm, combined with the surrounding natural beauty of the resort itself. In 2015 Altın Yunus made investments in modernization and renovation, as well as focusing on the quality enhancement of services and prioritising the satisfaction of guests.

The resort operates in full compliance with the certification requirements of ISO 9001-2008 Quality Management System.  It constantly reviews its corporate service provision and looks to build on its quality brand, ensuring the name is accessible through a range of communication channels.

Over the years Altın Yunus has acted, both as a pioneer and as a training ground for the Turkish tourism sector, by training countless managers and professionals in the sector.  Its success in being able to offer high-quality services throughout the year, can be attributed to the benefits gained from being the first resort of its kind in Turkey, combined with the strength and expertise of its human resource.
